Brave creates history in Jordan

ManamaBrave 10: The Kingdom Rises concluded as the biggest fight night in the Middle East and North Africa. 

The event was attended by a packed audience and was supported by concerts and cultural shows featuring Hanan Redha and Hala Al Turk. The fight night showcased eleven fights including the first ever championship title defence in the history of Brave Combat Federation. 

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa presided over the event alongside Mohammed Shahid, President of Brave Combat Federation.

Elias Boudegzdame was glorious in his first title defence. 

The featherweight from La Bonne Ecole submitted the former KSW fighter in the fourth round to retain his championship title. 

In the co-main event, Jarrah Al Selawe and David Bear fought a back and forth battle which would have ended in split decision. In the final seconds of the bout Jarrah Al Selawe trapped Bear in a triangle choke and won the high octane bout by submission thereby claiming his shot at the welterweight championship at Brave Combat Federation. 

Jordan’s rising sensation Abdul Kareem Al Selwady dominated three rounds of action against Charlie Leary in front of a crowd that went wild supporting the hometown hero. 

At the greatest grudges match in the history of the promotion Tahar settled the scores with Fakhreddine by winning the bout by TKO. Had created history as the first fighter to win against Fakhreddine by TKO. The event was attended by the members of the royal family, leading businessmen and corporates in Jordan, celebrities, social media influencers and key government officials. 

The success of the event is set to develop more cooperation between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Bahrain in the realm of sports, cultural affairs, entertainment and technology and economic activities. 

The event was followed by the announcement of the upcoming edition of Brave to be hosted in Brazil. 

The event will be hosted in Mineirinho Arena at Belo Horizonte, Brazil on 13th April, 2018.
