Special students complete grants procedures

 Students with special needs, who are secondary school graduates, assembled yesterday at the scholarship office at the Ministry of Education in order to complete procedures in acquiring grants and scholarships provided to them by the Kingdom.

 On the occasion, Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi stressed the Kingdom's commitment to give special students of secondary school graduates scholarships and grants as a result of various services implemented by the Kingdom.

 “It provides people with disabilities an opportunity for encouraging and recognising their extra efforts during their study period,” the Education Minister said.

 He pointed out that the scholarships and grants allocated to these groups of people include visual and hearing disabilities. In addition, since last year Kingdom has also considered to commit to providing scholarships to students with cancer and other diseases along with students with disabilities.

 Graduate students with special needs expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom's great interest continuing their care. They have been given aid during their school years also. Most of them were satisfied at the end of the programme.
