Wood Warehouse Fire Brought Under Control in Salhiya
The Ministry of Interior announced that teams from the General Directorate of Civil Defence successfully extinguished a fire that broke out in two wood storage warehouses in the Salhiya area, with no injuries reported.
According to the ministry, Civil Defence teams and firefighting vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report. Firefighters promptly began containment and suppression operations, bringing the blaze under control and preventing it from spreading to nearby areas.
Following the firefighting efforts, cooling operations were carried out to eliminate any remaining hotspots and prevent the fire from reigniting.
The General Directorate of Civil Defence confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
