Ministry in hiring mode, to train doctors

Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mohammed Amin Al Awadhi said that number of new graduated doctors who registered for training had reached 150 doctors in all fields.
Dr. Al Awadhi also said that Health Ministry would announce the date of the entrance examinations and interviews for the doctors in the upcoming days so that they could be registered by next October.
He also said that the training department at the Health Ministry conducted a meeting on Wednesday with the coordinators for the training programme to discuss appointing new several doctors to form a medical team for training in several departments.
The training doctors will supervise the graduates and ensure that they are well trained in their specialities, while undergoing continuous assessment in accordance with the hospital policies.
Dr. Al-Awadi said that the new system would work positively in the coming phase to train of Bahraini doctors to provide them with the skills and medical expertise to contribute to the upgrading of health care and the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain's medical staff according to the latest international standards in human medicine.
