Bahrain Joins Arab Rights Forum in Jordan
Engineer Ali Ahmed Al Durazi, Chairperson of Bahrain’s National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) and President of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions, participated in the opening session of the Third Arab Forum on Business and Human Rights, hosted by Jordan under the theme: “Advancing Responsible Business Conduct: Human Rights at the Heart of Sustainable Development in Arab States.”
In his opening remarks, Al Durazi stressed that respect for human rights is no longer merely an ethical choice but has become a fundamental requirement for sustainable development, responsible investment and sound governance.
He emphasized that sustainable economic growth cannot be achieved without safeguarding human dignity and protecting fundamental rights.
