Southern Governorate reviews public needs and service priorities

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa received several members of the Council of Representatives, community leaders, dignitaries, and representatives of civil society organisations from the Southern Governorate at the Governorate Council, in the presence of Brig. Gen. Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Deputy Governor, along with several officers and officials.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Governor welcomed the attendees, emphasising the importance of strengthening communication with citizens and addressing their development needs, in line with the vision of Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He highlighted the importance of direct engagement with citizens’ views and proposals to support security, service, and social development priorities.

He noted that the Southern Governorate continues to reinforce its approach of direct communication with residents and follow up on suggestions and observations received through electronic channels and smart platforms provided by the Governorate, as part of ongoing efforts to improve public services and meet community expectations.

The Governor also stressed continued coordination with relevant government entities to address citizens’ needs and implement development and service projects across various areas of the Governorate, contributing to improved service quality and sustainable development progress.
