Pizza delivery boy attacked, one held

The High Criminal Court has ordered a person suspected of robbery to be detained for 30 days, pending his trial.
The suspect is accused of robbing a pizza delivery motorbike with the help of an unidentified person.
The accused reportedly placed a delivery order and gave a wrong address, somewhere in Bilad Al Qadeem.
The Asian delivery boy who was taken by surprise by the duo when he reached the address. They reportedly attacked him with an iron rod and a knife.
The accused were reportedly wearing mask during the assault.
The accused was nabbed following investigations, while his accomplice is still at large. "We initially stole the mobile phone of an Asian national serving at a cafeteria. We used it to place the delivery order," the accused told prosecutors during questioning.
"Then we stole the motorbike. But we didn't physically assault the person who was riding it,” the accused claimed.
I used it for a few days, and then sold to another person after removing the registration plates," he added.
