Bahraini boy killed in fight
Manama : An 18-year-old boy was killed after he got into a fight with another boy and a group of people in Hoora late Wednesday.
The boy killed has been identified as Abdullah Hameed, 18, a Bahraini citizen of Sudan origin.
“The incident took place around 11:00 pm in Hoora when the two boys got into a fight,” an eyewitness said. He said that the friends and brothers of the other boy who killed Abdullah got involved in the fight which resulted in the death.
“Abdullah was beaten up brutally by a sharp steel rod in his chest, stomach and head. Later his head got hit by a stone when he fell,” the eyewitness said.
“After the incident, the other boy ran away but was arrested by the police just within a few hours and the police are investigating the matter,” the source added.
