Robbery: Servant’s sentence upheld

A domestic servant accused of robbery had her 6-month jail term upheld.
The Asian woman reportedly unlocked her sponsor's safebox and stole 19,000 Saudi riyals (BD1900).
The sponsor reportedly suspected the woman of committing the theft.
She denied the accusations, but her sponsor unearthed many of stolen valuables when he inspected her room.
"When I asked her about the money, she said she did not know anything about it," the sponsor said while lodging a complaint against her.
"I went to inspect her room, and found two Rolex watches, a Channel watch, three diamond rings and one gold ring. When I asked her from where she got these items, she said she found them in a bin," he added.
The woman will be deported once she completes her jail term.
