Singer D4vd Arrested in Los Angeles Over Murder Investigation of Teen Girl

Los Angeles: D4vd, the 21-year-old artist known for viral hits like Romantic Homicide and Here With Me, has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a 14-year-old girl.

According to police, the case involves the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decomposed remains were discovered in September 2025 inside the front trunk of a Tesla registered to Burke. The vehicle had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills area before being towed to an impound lot, where officers later made the discovery after reports of a foul smell.

Los Angeles police confirmed that Burke is currently being held without bail. Investigators are preparing to submit the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will decide whether formal charges should be filed.

Authorities said the case had previously been under investigation for several months, including grand jury proceedings and forensic review. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Major Crimes Division is now leading the review of evidence.

Prosecutors are expected to assess whether there is sufficient evidence to proceed with charges at a hearing scheduled for Monday.

Burke  rose to fame through TikTok and streaming platforms before signing with a major record label.

The case has drawn widespread attention due to Burke’s rising music career and the disturbing nature of the allegations.
