Drug bust nets over 5kg

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the Drug Control Directorate under the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested a 43-yearold Arab national in connection with a major drug case.
The arrest was made as part of ongoing efforts to protect society from the dangers of narcotics.
Authorities said the suspect was found in possession of approximately five kilograms of various narcotic substances and psychotropic substances. The estimated street value of the seized drugs exceeds BD36,000.
