Fatima wins gold at Para Athletics
Manama : Bahrain’s Fatima Abdulrazzaq won a gold medal in shot put (T53) at the World Para Athletics Championship being held in London, the UK.
Fatima won the first place in the shot put, beating seven other athletes from India, Canada, Mexico, Ukrain, Ireland and Greece, with a score of 4.73 metres.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities dedicated the victory to the Wise Leadership and the people of Bahrain, considering it as a prominent achievement for the Kingdom.
