Chief of Public Security Lt. Gen. Tareq bin Hassan Al Hassan visited the 16th Summer Camp organised by the Royal Police Academy as part of the national plan initiatives to strengthen national belonging and promote citizenship values under the “Bahrainuna” programme.

He praised the programmes and activities of the 16th edition, which are designed for children and young people and contribute to promoting citizenship, loyalty, belonging and tolerance, while encouraging teamwork, developing capabilities and identifying and positively nurturing talents.

The Chief of Public Security stressed the importance of making productive use of young people’s free time through purposeful programmes and activities that contribute to building their personalities and developing leadership and life skills. He also highlighted the importance of promoting self-reliance, teamwork and awareness of responsibility towards society, enabling young people to respond positively to future requirements and contribute effectively to serving the nation.

During the visit, Lt. Gen. Al Hassan toured programmes for male and female participants and reviewed a number of activities and events. He also visited the “Imprints and Achievements” exhibition and watched a visual presentation titled “A Participant’s Diary”, while reviewing activities that showcase the knowledge, skills and experiences participants gain during the camp.
