Summer Fest has become a big hit
Manama : The Bahrain Summer Festival 2017 is fast-becoming a huge hit in the Kingdom with the ‘Nakhool’ Tent located at the Bahrain Fort holding fun-filled activities on a regular basis.
Now, in its ninth edition, the event which began on 7 July is being organised by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA)
‘Recycling Workshop’, ‘Quilling Papers Workshop’ and the ‘Environmental Awareness Workshop’ are some of the most favoured workshops by children at the festival. The workshops are designed to improve children’s understanding of Bahrain’s culture, environment and the importance of maintaining it. Meanwhile, the bouncy castle, food stalls, balloon vendors and the locations being near to the beach are creating a very cheerful, lively and almost fair-like atmosphere.
The festival, according to visitors, is an appropriate place to be with children for an evening filled with entertaining activities, food and music.
Overall, for families who are not travelling over the summer, this festival is turning out to be an excellent opportunity to spend time together and for children to have a productive time.
