Celtic Man triumphs

Manama : The favourite Celtic Man owned by Ramadhan Stable, trained by Jaber Ramadhan and ridden by Brett Doyle won the seventh and final feature race of the 13th meeting of the season for the Lexus Silver Cup for imported three years old and upwards over 1,000 metres straight and worth BD2,500 yesterday at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.

Second place, a length behind, went to the second favourite Autumn Blush owned by Fawzi Abdulla Nass, trained by Fawzi Nass and ridden by Hassan Makki. The  Pity Cash owned by Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, trained by James Naylor and ridden by Alberto Sanna came a further three quarters of a length behind in the third place. In the fourth place a further three quarter of a lengths behind was the third favourite Grey Z owned by Al-Afoo Racing Stable, trained by Hussain Aldalaimi and ridden by Andrew Elliott.
