Saudi Arabia reaffirms support for Palestine at OIC meeting

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has stressed the importance of Islamic solidarity amid the challenging circumstances facing the region, calling for stronger cooperation among Muslim countries.
Addressing the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Prince Faisal reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's firm and longstanding support for the Palestinian cause.
He also condemned the repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing the Kingdom's position in support of protecting the holy site and safeguarding Palestinian rights.
Prince Faisal's remarks come as the region continues to face heightened political and security tensions, underscoring the need for coordinated positions and collective efforts among Islamic countries.
Saudi Arabia has consistently called for international efforts to support peace, protect civilians and advance a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.
