PM instructs to prevent future flooding
Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday instructed the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning to determine the reasons that led to the pooling of rain water in some areas of the Kingdom recently.
Speaking during the weekly Cabinet session, the PM directed to take measures that would prevent its recurrence in the future. The ministry was also asked to step up its readiness to deal with any rain water pools promptly.
