For over 10 years the Amazing Drumming Monkeys Show has entertained thousands of children and even adults. This riveting show, which has already captured the young minds of Bahrain, consists of two characters – Bongo and Congo – the two monkeys playing drums. Based in Adelaide, Australia, Troy (Congo) and Xavier (Bongo) plays the roles of monkeys and this variety show is targeting 1 to 8 years old children, and is also great entertainment for all ages.

The two monkey puppets (Bongo & Congo) play African drums, lead audiences in songs and dances, perform magic and special effects gags etc.

The two partners, who were initially trained drummers, were practising and performing all over the world until they came to know that they lack a variety in their performance.

“Those were the days, when we actually baffled and were thinking about something new.  The idea of ‘drumming monkeys’ actually came from my daughter, (who is now 12 years old).  One day she bought a toy monkey and drums and asked us to help show how the monkey can beat the drums. From that Idea, we developed “The Amazing Drumming Monkeys Show” 12 years ago,” explained Xavier.

The Monkeys show at Bahrain had appealed to a great range of people.

The show has cute and funny monkeys for the kids, variety segments for all ages, and a message for the world. The standard duration of the show is 30 minutes and is perfect for a venue such as Formula One entertainment arena.

The Monkeys have a special way of building environmental themes into their show that are packed with full of fun.

“This year we have chosen the theme “importance of recycling” and for that we have also brought in a new character ‘Percy’, a baby penguin.  The penguin is only revealed at the end of the show.  Through Percy, we advise children not to litter plastic bottles carelessly and ask them to use the recycle-bin so that they can keep the environment safe and clean,” he added.
