“Taawun 2” military drill today
Manama : National Guard Com-mander Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa emphasised the importance of “Taawun 2” (Cooperation 2) military drill in fighting terrorism yesterday. The military exercise, which will be jointly carried out by Bahrain and Kuwait National Guards, will kick off today and conclude on February 25.
He said the drill was in line with the protocol signed by the National Guard Command of Bahrain and Kuwait to boost bilateral military cooperation.
He lauded the advanced level of Bahraini and Kuwaiti National Guards cooperation, stressing the importance of exchanging practical and technical experiences to boost readiness to assume responsibilities in all circumstances.
