Human trafficking: Five men get bail

Five defendants accused on grounds of human trafficking have been granted bail. The defendants, including a Bahraini man and four Arab men, were charged with forcing seven women into prostitution. 

They locked up the victims in an apartment, according to court files. The defendants were said to have also made money transfer of cash exceeding BD400,000. 

They were also in possession of luxury yachts as well as high-end vehicles. The victims said that they were lured into Bahrain through fake job offers.
