Southern Governor highlights young Bahrainis’ achievements and contributions on Bahraini Youth Day

Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa affirmed that Bahraini Youth Day is an occasion to celebrate the achievements and contributions of young Bahrainis across various fields, highlighting their skills and capabilities as key drivers of the Kingdom’s development.

His Highness said the achievements of Bahraini youth reflect the support and attention given to young people by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He stressed that youth represent a key national asset and one of the main pillars in achieving Bahrain’s aspirations for a more prosperous and advanced future.

The Southern Governor also praised the continued efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in empowering Bahraini youth and strengthening their role in national development through initiatives and programmes that develop their skills and broaden opportunities for their ambitions.

His Highness further commended the role of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the General Sports Authority, in supporting youth and the sports sector and promoting the participation of young Bahraini talents. He said such efforts contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and achievement and encourage young people to represent Bahrain at regional and international events.

Shaikh Khalifa noted that the Southern Governorate continues to support youth through various initiatives and programmes aimed at strengthening community partnership and communication among young people, while providing an environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

He expressed pride in the successes and achievements of Bahraini youth and wished them continued success and excellence in serving the Kingdom and raising Bahrain’s flag across various fields.
