Two Asians Arrested Suspected Drugs
General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence has arrested two Asian nationals, a man and a woman, after they were found in possession of suspected narcotic substances.
The Ministry of Interior said the arrests were made as part of ongoing efforts by the Anti-Narcotics Directorate to combat drug-related activities and protect the community.
Following information received about the case, security personnel conducted search and investigation operations, gathered information and evidence, and identified the suspects. They were subsequently arrested with drugs in their possession.
The seized substances were secured and taken into custody, while the necessary legal procedures were completed and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence also stressed the importance of community cooperation in combating drugs and urged the public to report any relevant information through the hotline 996 or by email at 996@interior.gov.bh, assuring full confidentiality.
