US Ambassador Praises Gadeha Camp

US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephanie Hallett visited the “Gadeha Junior” youth training camp at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, praising its programmes and objectives aimed at developing young people.
The camp is held under the direction of National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and is organised in partnership between the Royal Guard and Studio Master. Ahmad Al Shaikh, Chairman of the camp’s organising committee and Director of the Media Office of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, welcomed the ambassador and briefed her on the camp’s concept, programmes and activities.
During her visit, Hallett toured the camp’s facilities and observed training sessions and activities designed to develop physical and mental abilities while promoting discipline, commitment, responsibility and teamwork. She also wore the camp’s official uniform and took part in some of its challenges.
The ambassador was briefed on the camp’s development and its success in attracting large numbers of young participants. The programme combines physical and mental training with personal and leadership development, offering participants an integrated experience that includes activities inspired by military-style training.
Hallett praised the organisation and variety of the camp’s programmes, highlighting its focus on providing meaningful experiences for young people. She commended the efforts to equip participants with skills, values and experiences that can contribute positively to their personal development and future.
