Flexible Housing Finance Options
Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amina bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi held talks with Al Baraka Islamic Bank Chairman Akram Yassin on strengthening cooperation in housing finance programmes and developing banking solutions to support citizens.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Al Baraka Islamic Bank.
During the meeting, Minister Al Rumaihi highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with banks and financial institutions to provide flexible financing solutions that meet citizens’ needs and enhance the quality and efficiency of housing services.
She emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to expanding partnerships with the private sector, describing it as a key partner in developing Bahrain’s housing ecosystem and broadening the range of available housing and financing options.
The discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation in housing finance programmes, improving banking facilities and solutions offered to citizens, and supporting social housing initiatives in line with national housing objectives.
For his part, Al Baraka Islamic Bank Chairman Akram Yassin expressed the bank’s pride in its ongoing cooperation with the Ministry, reaffirming its commitment to supporting housing finance programmes and developing innovative banking solutions that serve citizens and contribute to the growth of Bahrain’s housing sector.
