Security Cooperation Tops Bahrain-US Talks
Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephanie Hallett, reaffirming the strong strategic partnership and longstanding relations between the two countries.
The Interior Minister welcomed Ambassador Hallett and highlighted the commitment of Bahrain and the United States to further strengthening cooperation, coordination and joint efforts across various fields, particularly in security.
He stressed the importance of expanding opportunities to exchange expertise and enhance collaboration to support mutual interests.
General Shaikh Rashid praised the deep-rooted historical ties and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States, noting their continued growth across multiple areas.
During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral security cooperation programmes and ways to develop and enhance joint initiatives aimed at promoting security and stability.
