Heritage Crafts, Modern Markets

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development Ziad Adel Darwish inaugurated the “Bahraini Touch” exhibition at the Capital Mall for Bahraini Handicrafts and Products, as part of efforts to support productive families, expand marketing opportunities, and strengthen their presence in the local market.

The exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Social Development, will run from July 26 to 30, 2026, featuring a wide range of locally made products and traditional crafts by Bahraini families and artisans.

The initiative aims to highlight the Capital Mall for Bahraini Handicrafts and Products as a permanent platform supporting productive families and promoting Bahraini-made goods. The venue provides an interactive marketplace where entrepreneurs and craftsmen can showcase their work, connect with customers, and introduce visitors to the Kingdom’s traditional crafts and locally produced items.

A number of productive families are participating in the exhibition, offering visitors an opportunity to purchase their products, while Bahraini artisans are also presenting their skills and creativity through displays of traditional crafts.
