Kingdom Reconstitutes National Energy Action Plans Committee
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today issued Edict (52) of 2026 on the reconstitution of the committee overseeing the implementation of the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan, the National Renewable Energy Action Plan and their initiatives.
The committee will be chaired by the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs and include representatives from the Ministry of Works, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Electricity and Water Authority, Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Ministry of Finance and National Economy, Ministry of Oil and Environment, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Supreme Council for Environment.
The committee’s membership will be for a renewable three-year term.
