Kingdom Launches Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition 2026

On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, launched the Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain today.

His Royal Highness emphasised Bahrain’s continued support for efforts to strengthen GCC integration and cooperation by leveraging the capabilities and strengths of member states in line with their national visions.

He highlighted the importance of industrial integration as a key pillar of Gulf cooperation, particularly in expanding industrial partnerships, improving competitiveness and increasing the sector’s contribution to economic development.

His Royal Highness also noted that regional and international developments have reinforced the need to strengthen GCC industries, improve their ability to respond to changing demands and support sustainable growth across the region.

He stressed the importance of keeping pace with technological developments, encouraging innovation and developing advanced production capabilities to strengthen the global competitiveness of GCC industrial products.

His Royal Highness attended a panel discussion featuring HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy.

The discussion explored the future of industry and energy across the GCC, including technological transformation, sustainability, innovation and opportunities for greater integration between the two sectors.

His Royal Highness also inaugurated the accompanying exhibition, where he was briefed on GCC industrial products, technologies and solutions, as well as initiatives supporting smart and sustainable manufacturing.

HE Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, said the event provides a platform connecting governments, manufacturers, investors, financing institutions and innovators to develop industrial partnerships, projects and investments.

The Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition 2026 aims to showcase GCC industrial capabilities, strengthen supply chains, attract investment, support advanced and sustainable manufacturing, and expand opportunities for GCC products in regional and global markets.

The event was attended by GCC ministers responsible for industry and trade, the Secretary General of the GCC, senior officials, industrial leaders and investors.
