Public Prosecution chaired the 14th meeting of the Heads of Judicial Inspection Authorities in GCC countries on Wednesday, as part of the Kingdom's 2026 GCC presidency.
The virtual meeting was led by First Advocate General and Head of Judicial Inspection, Dr Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, with representatives from prosecution authorities across GCC member states.
Participants reviewed draft unified guidelines for inspecting the work of public prosecution members, aimed at improving judicial efficiency, strengthening professional oversight, and promoting justice, transparency and accountability across the Gulf.
The proposed regulations will now be submitted to the GCC Assistant Attorneys General for further consideration.
