Health Minister Inspects Pharmacy Automation Project at Salmaniya
Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan visited Salmaniya Medical Complex to review the progress of its pharmacy automation project, a major initiative aimed at modernising pharmaceutical services through advanced digital technologies.
The project introduces medication dispensing robots, automated pharmacy cabinets, and smart inventory management systems to improve the speed and accuracy of medication distribution while strengthening patient safety and operational efficiency.
Officials said the initiative marks a significant step in Bahrain's healthcare digital transformation strategy, supporting better governance, enhanced patient care, and world-class pharmaceutical services in line with international best practices.
