AI Tool to Support Job Seekers

Ministry of Labour's Information Systems Steering Committee reviewed the award-winning "Smart Employment Guide" concept, an artificial intelligence-powered initiative designed to support the employment of Bahraini citizens by matching their skills with suitable job opportunities and recommending relevant training pathways.

The committee held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Labour Minister and Minister of Legal Affairs, Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, with committee members in attendance.

During the meeting, the minister stressed the importance of adopting innovative ideas and initiatives to enhance government services, improve operational efficiency, and raise the quality of services provided to beneficiaries. He stressed that modern technologies play a key role in supporting Bahrain's digital transformation and strengthening government performance.

The initiative seeks to use artificial intelligence and advanced digital systems to support national employment efforts by introducing a smart assistant capable of matching job seekers' skills with available vacancies. It also recommends training programmes aligned with labour market needs, helping improve services for job seekers while enhancing customer satisfaction.
