Orientational visit reinforces parliamentary awareness

The General Secretariat of the Shura Council on Sunday received a group of volunteers and staff from the Executive Office of the National Plan for Promoting National Belonging and Citizenship Values, "Our Bahrain," as part of its ongoing orientational visits programme.
The visit aimed to deepen understanding of the Council's legislative and oversight role and foster community partnership with national and civic institutions, focusing particularly on youth engagement.
The delegation received a comprehensive briefing from legal researcher Issa Sabt on the Shura Council's mandate, its cooperative mechanisms with the Council of Representatives, and the broader relationship between the legislative and executive branches.
