In line with the Public Prosecution’s commitment to supporting national competencies and qualifying university students, it has launched an integrated training program running from July 1 to August 30, 2026. The program aims to give students the opportunity to closely observe the nature of judicial work, enhance their legal knowledge, and connect academic study with practical application.
The First Attorney General, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Hammadi, Head of the Judicial Inspection Department, explained that the program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive field experience by distributing them across various general and specialized prosecution offices. This allows them to learn about the jurisdiction of each office, work procedures, and the legal processes carried out by Public Prosecution members, under the direct supervision and follow-up of the Judicial Inspection Department in coordination with relevant parties.
He added that the program also includes field visits and introductory lectures outside the Public Prosecution premises, aimed at providing students with an integrated view of the justice system. These include attending sessions at criminal courts in coordination with the Courts Administration, visiting the Physical Evidence Department to learn about its operations and its role in supporting criminal justice, as well as visiting the Minors’ Funds Administration and the State Lawsuits Authority at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments to learn about their respective jurisdictions.
The program also includes a series of introductory and specialized lectures delivered by Public Prosecution members, covering topics such as the Public Prosecution’s jurisdiction, the Special Investigation Unit, the Enforcement Prosecution, and other relevant legal topics. This contributes to developing students’ legal knowledge and enhancing their understanding of the criminal justice system.
The launch of this program comes as part of the Public Prosecution’s efforts to invest in young national talent and provide a practical training environment that helps prepare a qualified generation of law students and related disciplines. This strengthens their readiness to enter the legal job market in the future and reflects the Public Prosecution’s mission to promote legal culture and enhance partnership with academic institutions.
