Health Minister Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan inaugurated the “Love Your Skin 2” awareness event at Marassi Galleria, organised by the Dermatology Department at Government Hospitals in cooperation with Education Plus, running from June 11 to 13.
Senior health officials attended the event, including Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, and Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health.
The campaign aims to raise awareness on skin health, common dermatological conditions, and preventive care, while highlighting specialised services provided by Government Hospitals.
Dr. Jaleela Hassan said such initiatives reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen public health awareness and emphasized the importance of prevention, early diagnosis, and medical consultation.
Officials noted that the programme is part of broader efforts to encourage healthy practices and promote overall community wellbeing.
