Dr Maryam Al Dhaen honoured at Gulf business expo

MP Dr Maryam Al Dhaen has been honoured at the Middle East Business Expo – Gulf Edition 2026 in Dubai for her work in parliament and public life.
The award was given during a ceremony held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah and chairman of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Dr Al Dhaen was named among a group of Gulf leaders, senior public figures and well-known names from the region cited for work in growth, public service, new ideas, diplomacy and community work.
Her award also marked her role in supporting national drives and raising Bahrain’s presence at regional and world forums.
The event drew diplomats, government figures, lawmakers, business chiefs, entrepreneurs, media figures and civic leaders from across the Gulf.
The expo is a regional forum that honours work in public service, business and civic life, while seeking to build links between government bodies, firms, diplomats, media groups and civil society.
