Senior Gulf officials review agenda items for upcoming GCC ministerial meeting

Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chaired the meeting of the Drafting Committee at the level of senior officials from the foreign ministries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
The meeting was held as part of preparations for the 167th session of the GCC Ministerial Council.
During the meeting, officials discussed the items on the agenda for the upcoming ministerial session and reviewed topics related to advancing joint Gulf cooperation. The committee also prepared the necessary recommendations to be submitted to Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Foreign Ministers of the GCC member states ahead of the ministerial meeting.
Bahrain’s delegation at the meeting was headed by Ambassador Nawar Abdullah Al Mutawa, Acting Head of the GCC Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
