Justice Minister Commends Success of 1447 AH Hajj Season

Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, praised the success of the 1447 AH Hajj season and the smooth organisation of services provided to pilgrims.

The minister highlighted the continuous care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which ensured comprehensive support and attention for Bahraini pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.

Al Maawda also commended the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the ongoing supervision of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He said these efforts enabled pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals safely and comfortably in a well-organised environment.

The minister praised the committees involved in Bahrain’s Hajj mission, led by Shaikh Adnan Abdullah Al Qattan, for their dedicated work during the pilgrimage season. He specifically recognised the contributions of the security committee from the Ministry of Interior, the medical committee from the Ministry of Health, scout teams from the Ministry of Education, and other organisational and service teams that supported pilgrims across the holy sites.

Al Maawda noted that Saudi Arabia’s expertise in crowd management and the use of advanced systems and modern technologies reflected its strong commitment to serving pilgrims and ensuring smooth movement during the Hajj season.

He also lauded Bahraini Hajj tour operators for their cooperation and coordination in serving Bahraini pilgrims and adhering to approved plans and instructions, which contributed to the overall success of the season.
