Bahrain, partners boost animal health cooperation in Paris talks

Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, held talks in Paris on strengthening international cooperation in animal health and food security, as he attended the 93rd General Session of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH).
The minister met WOAH Director General Emmanuelle Soubeyran to discuss joint efforts aimed at enhancing the capacities of member states, improving veterinary health systems, and expanding technical cooperation in the field of animal health.
The discussions also addressed global developments related to animal diseases and zoonotic infections, with both sides stressing the importance of improving preparedness and rapid response mechanisms.
Youssef Ahmed Al Eissa, Chief Executive of the Equestrian Affairs Authority, also attended the meeting.
