Education Ministry Launches IB Programme Webpage for Government Schools

The Ministry of Education Bahrain has introduced a dedicated webpage on its official website to provide detailed information about the International Baccalaureate in government schools.

The initiative aims to give students and parents a clear understanding of the programme, its objectives, and how it supports academic development in line with international standards.

The webpage features an overview of the IB programme, highlighting its benefits for students seeking admission to higher education institutions both locally and abroad. It also includes details on how the programme will be implemented in government schools, along with information on approved curricula, selection criteria, and participating schools.

In addition, guidance is provided for students interested in applying, including nomination procedures and key requirements.

The ministry has invited students and parents to explore the webpage and complete registration within the specified period from April 14 to 21. Eligible applicants will be contacted following the evaluation process, with the first group of students set to begin the programme in September.
