HM King receives cable of thanks from BCCI Chairman

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Nabeel Khaled Kanoo, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In the message, Kanoo expressed, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the business community in Bahrain, sincere appreciation for the meeting with His Majesty and for his continued guidance and vision.

He praised His Majesty’s emphasis on the Chamber’s role in advancing the commercial and industrial sectors, describing it as a national responsibility that requires ongoing efforts to strengthen its contribution as a key partner in economic development and decision-making.

Kanoo also highlighted the King’s recognition of the Chamber’s longstanding role and its contributions to the national economy, affirming the business community’s commitment to building on this legacy and enhancing competitiveness while supporting sustainable growth.

The Chairman further expressed gratitude for His Majesty’s continued support of the business sector and his directives to compensate citizens for property damage, noting that such measures reflect a humanitarian approach aimed at protecting citizens and maintaining stability.

He also commended initiatives supporting the labour market and private sector, including measures to support Bahraini salaries, liquidity programmes, and loan deferrals, which have helped sustain economic activity and job creation.

Kanoo concluded by wishing Bahrain continued progress, stability, and prosperity under His Majesty’s leadership.
