Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the extension of its temporary flight operations from King Fahd International Airport until April 2026.
The airline confirmed that flights operating between Dammam and London Heathrow Airport will continue until April 11, 2026. Meanwhile, services from Dammam to key destinations including Mumbai, Nairobi, Cairo, Chennai, Bangkok, Casablanca, and Manila have been extended through April 30, 2026.
The move comes as Bahrain’s airspace remains temporarily closed, along with restrictions over parts of the region due to ongoing developments. In response, Gulf Air continues to operate flights to ten destinations via Dammam.
To support passengers, the airline will provide transportation services between Bahrain and King Fahd International Airport for travelers holding confirmed bookings.
Additionally, Gulf Air is assisting passengers with transit visa arrangements through Saudi Arabia for those traveling to and from Bahrain using the airline’s organized ground transport. However, passengers whose final destination is Saudi Arabia must independently secure a valid entry visa.
Travelers can book flights through the airline’s official website, mobile application, or authorized travel agents.
