Manama: Authorities in Bahrain have arrested several drivers and impounded their vehicles for 60 days after they allegedly caused public disturbances and spread panic among residents.

Officials said the individuals were accused of disrupting public order and creating unnecessary alarm among citizens and residents.

Authorities confirmed that legal procedures have been initiated against those involved, and the vehicles used in the incidents have been temporarily seized.

The action forms part of broader efforts by authorities to maintain safety, stability and compliance with the law across the country.

Officials also urged the public to adhere to regulations and avoid behaviour that could disturb public order or endanger community safety.
