The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that its air defense systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed dozens of hostile targets since the start of what it described as Iranian terrorist attacks against the Kingdom.

According to the statement, Bahrain’s air defense units, supported by the vigilance and readiness of their personnel, have so far destroyed 78 missiles and 143 drones that were launched toward the Kingdom during successive waves of attacks.

The General Command praised the high level of combat readiness and operational efficiency demonstrated by Bahrain Defence Force personnel, emphasizing that their performance reflects advanced capabilities and constant vigilance in safeguarding the Kingdom’s skies.

Officials noted that the dedication and professionalism of the defense forces provide reassurance and strong confidence that Bahrain’s airspace remains protected with God’s help and through the commitment of its servicemen.

The Bahrain Defence Force also urged all residents and citizens to remain indoors and avoid leaving their homes unless absolutely necessary, while exercising the highest level of caution for their safety. The public was advised to stay away from damaged locations, avoid approaching suspicious objects, and refrain from filming military operations or the sites where debris has fallen.

Authorities further called on the public not to spread rumors and to rely only on official sources for updates, stressing the importance of following official government media channels for verified information, alerts, and warnings.

The General Command also stressed that the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian areas and private property represents a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. Such indiscriminate attacks, it added, pose a direct threat to regional peace and security.
