Deputy Premier orders repair of civil infrastructure

His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, has directed the relevant authorities to address damage to civil infrastructure caused by the Iranian attacks and to rehabilitate it to ensure the continued provision of vital services at the highest levels of efficiency.
He also emphasised the importance of working to further develop the infrastructure to strengthen service delivery and resilience.
The Deputy Prime Minister was speaking as he chaired the 294th meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects.
The committee commended the Kingdom’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty, protecting citizens and residents, and preserving national achievements.
It also lauded the effectiveness of Bahrain’s security, defence and civil systems in responding to the Iranian attacks that targeted civilians, residential buildings, private property and facilities.
