Workers can now check work permit status through MyGov

Registered workers can now check their work permit details and validity through the MyGov App, under an enhanced service launched by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).
Workers can access the service using their ID card and passport numbers, select their country and log in through eKey 2.0.
The updated service features a simpler interface, streamlined procedures and unified information across channels.
Ahmed Ibrahim Al Arabi, LMRA Executive Vice President for Services and Business, said the upgrade aims to improve access to permit information and make digital services more efficient and user-friendly.
