Bahrain–Oman Relations Strengthened in Official Talks in Muscat
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met today with His Majesty Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, during His Royal Highness’s official visit to Oman.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding and robust partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman. He reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in line with the shared visions of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, aimed at achieving mutual aspirations for progress and prosperity.
His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King to the Sultan of Oman, along with best wishes for the Sultanate’s continued development and success. In turn, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said conveyed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad and expressed his wishes for Bahrain’s ongoing growth and prosperity.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed pride in the depth of the fraternal ties between the two nations and the steady progress achieved across various sectors. He underscored the importance of expanding cooperation to further advance shared interests and reinforce regional stability.
The meeting also reviewed avenues to enhance collaboration across multiple sectors and addressed issues of mutual concern.
Following the discussions, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of His Royal Highness and the accompanying Bahraini delegation.
