Bahrain and UK Explore New Avenues for Economic Cooperation
His Excellency Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received today Lord Jason Stockwood, the UK Minister for Investment at the Department for Business and Trade, at his office during the latter’s visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the Minister of Industry and Commerce welcomed the British Minister for Investment, praising the deep-rooted and longstanding historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United Kingdom. He underscored the importance of continuing to strengthen avenues of cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, particularly in trade and investment, in a manner that serves shared goals and mutual interests.
The meeting reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom and the advanced levels achieved across multiple fields. Both sides also discussed ways to further enhance cooperation to support growth and prosperity for the two countries and their friendly peoples.
