Rescues Woman After Cruise Control Malfunction on Shaikh Khalifa Highway

The Operations Directorate successfully rescued a 24-year-old Bahraini woman after receiving an emergency report that her vehicle’s cruise control system had malfunctioned while she was driving on Shaikh Khalifa Highway towards Zallaq.
According to initial details, operations patrols immediately responded to the call and escorted the vehicle to ensure the driver’s safety. Officers remained in constant contact with the woman by phone, calmly guiding her on how to handle the situation safely while the vehicle was still in motion.
Through the instructions provided, the driver was able to safely disconnect the cruise control system without causing any damage to the vehicle or sustaining any injuries. The incident was resolved smoothly, and no accidents were reported.
Authorities praised the quick response and coordination of the operations teams, reaffirming the importance of staying calm during emergencies and contacting emergency services immediately when facing technical issues while driving.
