King Attends Conclusion of National Virtual Exercise “Azm Al Watan 1”

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended the conclusion of the national virtual exercise “Azm Al Watan 1” at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council. The exercise was led by the Royal Guard under the Bahrain Defence Force.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, followed the exercise via video link.

Upon his arrival, His Majesty was received by senior officials, including the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force and the leadership of the Royal Guard. During the visit, a briefing was presented on the objectives and outcomes of the exercise, which focused on strengthening national readiness and coordination among government bodies.

His Majesty later held a video call with the Crown Prince, during which he praised the government’s efforts and the close follow-up provided to participating ministries and institutions, noting that this cooperation played a key role in the success of the exercise.

The King also met, via video conference, with officials from various participating entities. He was briefed on the implementation of the exercise and the efforts made to ensure its success. His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the dedication and professionalism shown by all involved.

In a closing address, His Majesty commended the high level of performance and coordination demonstrated during the exercise. He stressed the importance of unity, teamwork, and making full use of the lessons learned to further enhance national preparedness. He concluded by thanking all participants for their sincere efforts in protecting the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Majesty also expressed his gratitude to the Royal Guard and the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defence Council for carrying out their national duties with loyalty, efficiency, and dedication, alongside all units of the Bahrain Defence Force.
