Yesterday morning, the city had a heavy rain, and along the wet streets, stray cats were seen braving the cold and damp. Small and thin, they huddled together on sidewalks, their fur soaked, their tiny bodies shivering as they tried to find any shelter they could.
Some cats squeezed under parked cars or hid near building corners, while others had no choice but to sit in puddles, looking lost and vulnerable. Passersby couldn’t help but notice them, some offering scraps of food or pieces of cardboard to give them temporary warmth.
Watching them move slowly, with cautious, tired eyes, it was clear how difficult even a simple rainy morning could be for these animals. Each raindrop seemed heavier for them, each gust of cold wind more biting, yet they kept moving, searching for safety.
The sight was a quiet reminder of the daily struggle for stray cats, and how a bit of care from humans could make a big difference in their survival, especially during harsh weather.
